Evora3 0
Hi fellow Lotus people If I leave my 2011 NA Evora sitting for a few days a strange bug appears on ignition. I hold key in pre ignition stage and let the speedo tacho dance but immediately after ignition the instrument panel lights turn off, tacho speedo dance again and instrument panel lights up again. Car otherwise runs fine It happens on first startup after sitting for a few days and then works as normal for subsequent startups that day or the immediate next day. Battery has been checked and mechanic says it charged - it is an RAA roadside replacement maybe 2 years old Parking camera is always turned off (now) Any clues (apart from drive it every day)? Hangar 111 302
Poor battery performance means the instrument pack is resetting due to low voltage whilst cranking. Dave
Daring 0
Thanks Dave This is consistent with 1: Cheap RAA Battery 2: turning off parking camera made things better for a while Will go and buy an expensive battery from someone. Cheers PK
