mikey k
The lack of sun visors has got me thinking about a vinyl sun Strip at the top of the windscreen. Can't seem to find any for sale at the usual suspects. Any body got a supplier or suggestions on what to put on it?
R300XXX
Got mine from elise-shop https://elise-shop.com/lotus-sport-windowbanner-p-348096.html
mark248am
Are sun visors an option? Because my Cup has them, thought they were standard.
mikey k
Not on my 350 with the roof conversion.

They were dropped for the Sport 350, certainly in Euro market. Previous to that, they only came without on the V6 Cup
mark248am
Weird then they might be just standard for the Middle East cuz my previous Exige S came with them as well and @BAS has them also on his 430 Cup.
Akajak
IMHO a stupid money saving/weight saving idea; should have at least been an option
RoflOnMyWaffle
Not to be that guy, but I have no issues with them gone? Can't help but feel the sun strip cuts too much visibility. Already have to either stop far back or lean forward to see traffic lights locally
MrP_
Agree with @RoflOnMyWaffle I don’t get why visors would be needed. I remove the front bit of trim to see properly. When I had them in an S2 I removed them, the just got in the way. But if shorter then the problem is reversed I guess. 2GOOD
Always fancied retro fitting the sun visors to my VXR220 as they didn’t come with them, I knew someone who had successfully bought the parts from Lotus and fitted them to his VX without removing the windscreen. However I had them in my Club Racer V6 and found them useless, don’t miss them at all in my Sport 350. I sit almost at the back of the seat travel so it’s hard enough already to see traffic lights if at the front of the queue etc.
mark248am
Yeah I have the visors and they really don't do anything except make people laugh when I show them how slim my visors are. Never used them because they don't do anything.

Gold FFM C8RKH Posted May 21, 2020 Gold FFM Report Share Posted May 21, 2020 Great company. Placed several orders with him over the past few weeks and always been delighted with the products returned to me. Quote Alcohol. Sex. Tobacco. Drugs. Chocolate. Meh! NOTHING in this world is as addictive as an Evora +0. It's not for babies! The first guy to ride a bull for fun, was a true hero. The second man to follow him was truly nuts! KAS-118
I've come across these before - but have never used them. Apparently they do custom versions http://www.mrtints.co.uk/sunstrips.html

PJ
They indeed can make custom decals and did some for me too in the past. It would be nice if he would make a generic black sunstrip. The known sunstrip I don't like too much..
Akajak
I asked Lotus if they sold the sunstrip that has featured on a number of their cars; they said no.
