richard@richardwise.co.uk
A quick hello from a 1986 normally aspirated Essex blue S3 owner from Kidlington. I've had the car for 4 or 5 years now (previous owned by the bass-player from Manson!) and despite a lot of fixing when I first bought the car, it runs very well. There are photos of me and the car on the LEW website in the 'Other stuff', 'Esprit gatherings' section on the 'UK Yahoo! Meet 13 April 2003' page where you can see the car in the 1st and 5th photos, and then I am with the car towards the bottom. I was there at another Stanton St John meet where someone filmed all the cars coming over a bridge in Islip - I knew I was after a run of 3 S1s so watched Esprit after Esprit coming over the bridge until I counted the three S1s, and then a van pulled up right in front of the camera! At another Stanton St John event my back wheel almost came off! I discovered that the 'something is definitely wrong with this car' thing, when I got back home a few miles away, was that all the bolts were VERY loose on one back wheel! I know a few other Esprit drivers around the area but am discovering more :-)

I suggest that you find a way to create free time for yourself for wasting on hours of Internet use. Welcome! esprit350
Welcome to the forum, I was at at least one of the meets you mention, so I must know you by sight ... I like the blue colour. As you were at the April 2003 meet, you've had the car for at least 4 years. How long in total have you had the car? richard@richardwise.co.uk
Welcome to the forum, Richard. Car looks very nice. I like the blue colour. As you were at the April 2003 meet, you've had the car for at least 4 years. How long in total have you had the car? I must have had it for 5 years then I guess. Quite some time anyway. I belong to a couple of Yahoo forums and regularly check out LEW. I also drive the car as regularly as I can as I have learned to "use it or lose it" the hard way ;-) Thanks to everyone for making me feel welcome here
