lotusforsale.com
For those of you who are Lotus enthusiasts, meet the Purple Nasty. She’s a 1994 S4 Lotus Esprit and verified as the only UK spec made by Lotus in Palacio purple. There is one other – it is a federal spec car. Forget your S1 and JPS and Essex Esprits – this is the rarest of them all. I purchased the car back in 2012. Since then she has had a comprehensive plan of work carried out, including: 3 cam belt changes Services and maintenance item like shock absorbers, brake pads etc New exhaust manifold New clutch (fitted in March) New radiator New braking system (now servo assisted and far better than the awful defunct Delco Moraine system) New starter motor New Wiper Assembly New battery New fuel tanks New gearbox Linkage New Exhaust New catalytic converter Wheels sent away to be re-finished New gear shift In fact pretty much all of the significant works needed on these beasts. The Purple Nasty has just had a service with new cam belt and tensioners fitted along with a new MOT at the end of March. All of the work has been carried out by renowned Lotus specialists GST Performance in Newmarket. She is a beauty and always attracts attention at car shows. You will struggle to find a better example – that has had all of this work already completed. The post The Rarest 1994 Palacio Purple S4 Lotus Esprit appeared first on lotusforsale.com. Gold FFM Hornsey Boy Posted June 27, 2020 Gold FFM Report Share Posted June 27, 2020 Stunning colour and its certainly stands out and if its the only UK one, then I seem to remember seeing that car, when it was fairly new being driven around Central London Hyde Park way by Romano Artioli.
