Hub removal - Suspension/Brakes/Wheels/Hubs/Steering/Geo - The Lotus Forums #ForTheOwners Jump to content

I have removed the rear Upright from my X180 in order to renew all Suspension bushes, spring and shocks. Had a bit of a battle removing the lower link bolt but  reigned supreme in the end. With the upright knuckle removed makes sense to have a new bearing fitted. I have removed the hub’s circumferential cap head bolts expecting the hub to near fall into my hand, it is stuck well and truly. Can anybody  offer some words of wisdom On how to remove this stubborn hub? Thanks in advance.

Thanks, left her soaking overnight and she came away.

Yet more proof how easy a Lotus is to work on 👍
