3eighty
The 380 Sport and 380 / 430 Cup do. Wondering whether the 410 might but maybe Lotus don’t advertise it for greater differentiation with the 430 Cup. Would anyone know for certain? Wondering about a 410 but quite like knowing that the hoop is there for track days.
Tex
410 does not have it only the Cup430
Bandit
380/410 doesn’t have one. Harness bar is easily fitted though (S2 Elise/Exige version fits). I’ve got a harness bar and Schroth harnesses in my 410.
Tex
A Harness bar does not provide the rigidity or safety in a rollover accident of a T45 roll hoop Though ! And Not easily retrofitted to a 410 I don’t think
3eighty
The 380 Sport does have the T45 - copied and pasted from the official Lotus PR materials: "Thanks to the presence of rear-mounted sensors, parking the Exige Sport 380 is an absolute breeze. The vehicle’s lightweight aluminium chassis is exceptionally rigid and, along with a T45 steel roll hoop, provides excellent protection. Airbags are provided, too. The car’s blistering pace is firmly counteracted by the inclusion of two-piece high-performance grooved brake discs, which have been designed by motorsport specialists, AP Racing." Bandit
I think you’re getting confused with a 380 Cup. All the Cup cars come with the roll hoop, Sports do not. http://www.lotuscars.com.tr/exige-cup-380/index.html
3eighty
The 380 Sport marketing materials copied above both seem to refer to the T45 hoop?
Bravo73
Just because it appeared in the marketing material doesn’t mean to say that it actually made it to productions cars.
Arun_D
To be clear, ALL Exiges have rollover protection. The Cup part is different as it has bosses to accept fitment of the harness A-Frame/cage). Refer to images below:
Martrack
And if you're crazy enough you can even go for the full rollcage 😅 😍
