Popular Post Barrykearley 6,865
This covid isolation period has resulted in a heap of jobs done round the house, loads of stuff work related completely avoided and plenty of alcohol drunk. Yesterday I started having a bit of a clear up and sort out - one huge bonfire lit. This morning it carried on and through most of the day - it’s incredible just how much stuff was stacked and piled here and there. The newly sowed grass had its first hard cut - I will reseed it a bit more - it’s not the best time of year but I’ll whack some more on anyway. my buddy is lined up to do a load more post and rail fencing which will define the area between house and outbuildings - and most importantly make the garden fully enclosed from the rest and dog proof (hopefully). Once that’s done - I can get on with the decking and other infill bits and bobs. 4 Quote Only here once
Mysterae 248
Looking good Barry, you'll need something between hot tub and the patio so the ladies don't get their feet all grassy and muddy! 1 Quote Signature not working...
Barrykearley 6,865
Thanks @Mysterae that’s defo on the cards - but agreeing anything in this house takes time - and often lots of it. I find decisions are far quicker in the garage department 1 Quote Only here once
Barrykearley 6,865
Had Johnno up last night with the jcb - kinda where this all started - all the spoil piles of rubble and dirt have been tidied away nicely and levelled over nicely. Wow - what a difference it all makes. so just the fencing to get sorted now and then the decking and summer house can be thought about Quote Only here once
Popular Post Barrykearley 6,865
Fencing put up this week while I’ve been away. Just the small front section to go up Monday with the gates onto the side path. I’ve gotta paint them tomorrow first though. A temporary wire fence is where the gates should be - I finally have a garden the dogs can’t get out of and bugger off down the road. 3 Quote Only here once

mg4lotus 139
Gates are level. It's the floors and walls that are out.
Barrykearley 6,865
Sadly when you get outside of London - the ground is sometimes not level and you just have to go with the flow. There’s several thousand tons of bedrock about an inch under the surface where the fence is - hence why the house is built where it is - next to the stone 1 Quote Only here once

He'd sort that out for you in no time @Barrykearley He's only very young and he's a great laugh. People ask what he does for a living and he just gives them a deadpan, bored look and says "I blow stuff up!, you know, bit like a Terrorist but I have a license and a nice yellow vest!" 2 Quote Alcohol. He went home alone that night 1 1 2 Quote 88 Esprit NA, 89 Esprit Turbo SE, Evora, Evora S, Evora IPS, Evora S IPS, Evora S IPS SR, Evora 400, Elise S1, Elise S1 111s, Evora GT410 Sport Evora NA For forum issues, please contact the Moderators.
