Not an issue if you drive the cars periodically.  In many areas of the USA, 10% ethanol fuel has been all we can get for many years.

 

Some of the older rubber (o-rings, seals etc) could be affected if you let the car sit. Sta-Bil makes products to somewhat neutralize the effects

In the UK super unleaded will remain at 5% I believe.

Lotus Esprit [meaning] a 1:1 scale Airfix kit with a propensity to catch fire

Government Consultation - from just before the lockdown and ended 3 May

This consultation is:

  • proposing introducing E10 petrol as the 95 octane “Premium” grade
  • proposing ensuring the ongoing availability of E5 petrol in the higher octane “Super” grade only
  • proposing amending the mandatory labelling of E10 petrol
  • launching a call for evidence on future transport biofuels policy
