Belt failure due to seized tensioner pulley

Any one else experienced a tensioner pulley seizing up on them?

Yesterday my belt snapped during the LoT Dijon trackday. I can assure you that this was a little brown pants moment when the engine compartment and cabin filled up with smoke during disintegration :scared:

I checked the damage this morning and found the culprit being the tensioner pulley

Looking at the Lotus parts catalog it seems you need to order the full (expensive) tensioner assembly?
