r3nault 14
I notice the suspension in my S1 Evora is quite noisy when it’s doing something, like on road joins. More noticeable from the rear. Normal?
Gold FFM jep 857 Posted October 1, 2020 Gold FFM Report Share Posted October 1, 2020 My 66,000 miler suspension is noisy, esp when cold. I assume this is rubber bushes and the like. It gets less the further I travel. It don't bother me - it makes the car feel even more alive and adds character. And it is 10 years old, so one can forgive. My 10 year Twingo is worse but CUP suspension so it has had 68,000 miles of shakin'. Justin
Reindeer 28
Have you changed ARB drop links or ARB bushes? I did mine a few weeks ago and made a HUGE difference! Not particularly expensive parts either. Worth doing.
Bibs 11,176
The original ARB bushes are almost an annual service item to be fair, and they do make a fair bit of noise once they're worn. EGTE 145
Powerflex ARB bushes last a lot longer.
r3nault 14
Thanks all, that does sound like the culprit. I think it was mentioned on the prepurchase inspection report as having a bit of play
