Bazza 907 1,079
@auRouge It's been discussed elsewhere recently and been for sale for quite some time now.
sailorbob 266
For that kind of money it's a shame it's not got the original cylinder head and, unless they been replaced, a few other non original parts.
Buddsy 1,643
Auction ended at £36,500.00 I wasnt so keen on the two tone paint. buddsy Quote "Belief is the enemy of knowing" - Crrow777

Are they uniquely identifiable to a specific car. Any more than, say, a replacement water pump or carpet? Just Interested!

stephenwhyte 1,965
I thought this sold - there was a guy on FB showing a photo of it outside his garage and saying how happy he was🤔 Did he maybe return to sender?😳 edit : just checked and the I’ve attached the post I was referring to below. I’ve also posted up a message asking if he’s still got it. New ad could be a scam

Buddsy 1,643
Can you return a car to an auction? buddsy Quote "Belief is the enemy of knowing" - Crrow777
910Esprit 543
Ive bought at an auction before and there was a 90 minute guarantee! Just to make sure the thing physically could move if it was supposed to. However, if an item is knowingly misdescribed, you may have a case in any sale I guess? Gold FFM Popular Post andynewsome 14 Posted January 2 Gold FFM Popular Post Report Share Posted January 2 Hi Yes I can confirm it's not going anywhere. I'm very happy with it. I purchased it without even seeing it and on a bit of a whim. I have never owned one before but always fancied one and just loved it in the green and black. It looks just as good in the flesh as in the photos and drives fantastic. I can see why people have been a bit suspicious of the way it seems to have been on sale for a long time and then put in an auction, but the guy who owned it was just a trader and classic car collecter. I went to his house and he had just about one of everything that were all for sale for the right price but he was in no rush. He sent it to a lotus specialist to be checked over and serviced for me before I collected it. So very happy with the whole purchase..😁

Gold FFM Popular Post andynewsome 14 Posted January 2 Gold FFM Popular Post Report Share Posted January 2 I presume the advert was never ended and just keeps getting refreshed. It seems like it's a very old advert. I just managed to attach some photos. As you will see safe and sound in my garage.... 10
