RHDV8 19
Yours says it’s a xfg000140 which “should” have a red cover. The xfg000150 should be the clear lens one. Might be worth checking before you order. Edited November 22, 2020 by RHDV8 Added detail
exeterjeep 341
Also on ebay eg https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MG-ZR-Rover-25-200-Clear-LED-High-Level-Brakelight/143847795285?hash=item217dff2a55%3Ag%3AKj8AAOSwtkheg5Qv&LH_Auction=1 I have used rimmer bros for mg parts for some years. I did not know this when I bought one from SJ for my gte wing.

I would say that the clear applies to the glass/plastic lens so that it must have red bulbs inside? Then I would guess that the red part number means that the fitting looks red all the time - so may be it has clear bulbs/leds inside. The old R200 had a previous version of this part that seems to have replaceable bulbs. I have 2 face lift ZRs that use this part, i thought it looked similar to the one on my evora.!!! This will probably start a rash of sales on ebay
Troy5925 61
I now have the light and looking at the cabling it’s looks like I may have to thread it all The way though the spoiler and in the boot is there an easier way of doing this?
Pacederon 21
If you have not already removed the old light, cut the cable and attach the cable of the new light to the old cut cable and use the old cable to [gently] pull through the new one.
Troy5925 61
Yes that’s the only way I can see of doing it at the moment
Pacederon 21
If you do not wish to cut the original cable, attach a draw wire to the connector end of the cable and draw the old lamp cable through and you will have a wire to draw in the new one...
Troy5925 61
Fitted the new light but was not easy as i tried to pull the new light cabling though by tapping it to the old cabling as I pulled it came loose and then i had no option other to use a wire and spent 30-45mins trying re-thread it though the rear wing Then tapped the new cabling to the wire and pulled that though think if there is a next time I’ll just cut the cabling and save all the hassle
exeterjeep 341
I had to fit bullet connectors at either end when fitting the light to the gte wing, having at first had the same problem as you had, in particular the connection end was the main problem.
