Bravo73 1,333
"A common issue", claims 'The Wizard'. Hmmm, first time that I've heard about it. 😂

Bibs 11,368
I'm concerned he thinks there's a bank of cylinders under the air intake! LotusLeftLotusRight 1,317
Maybe he meant the fuel intake manifold? This might be unrelated, but I experienced a similar shuddering sensation through the steering of my car after a power steering fluid change. I took it back to the dealer for a bleed and top-up. No money changed hands. 4 years later it’s still perfect. I wonder if the Wizard tried that, before ripping out the steering rack for a very costly repair?
Bravo73 1,333
It didn't sound like he did. Maybe you could ask him in the YouTube comments?
LotusLeftLotusRight 1,317
I didn’t quite understand his logic of how disconnecting the power steering pump (serpentine belt) resulted in the shuddering going away, so it had to be the rack? Surely if you disconnect a component and things get better, then that part may well be to blame? Even if it’s pumping well, there could be air in the system like mine. mik 382
I must be really lucky that I can open my boot hatch with a button fitted inside the car.
TdM 192
I believe the button inside the car was not actually standard on the base model mik so that's fair enough. I'm no expert but isn't there a reset on the window as well if it starts playing up before you try replacing the regulator? The Wizard has had another mishap on one of Hoovies cars (Mercedes SLS) as well when he put the transmission fluid in the wrong hole... They are used to simpler cars in the USA. EGTE 155
Some good points here. There's another Hoovie video where "the Wizard" puts transmission fluid in the wrong hole of an AMG SLS, so he clearly isn't always right, to say the least!
