What colour were original louvres on '85 TE ?

Upgrade today to remove Google ads and support TLF.

The original first purchaser would’ve been able to spec body coloured louvres if desired - that’s likely what’s happened here. Andy Graham in archives will likely be able to confirm from original build sheet.
Personally prefer black, louvres but it’s a personal taste thing - standard look on photos below.....the mirrors and bumpers on an ‘85 Turbo Esprit would’ve been body coloured as standard

Now I think about it, it's probably not really worth following up as I've refurbished the interior headrail and cant rails from rotted Tan fabric to a red/white visors and white head/cant rails in leatherette (the pic look black on internal visor, but it is wine red .... 1604769396_HeadRailrefurb.thumb.jpg.e049dc850b2b033b682fcca15b8096fa.jpg

Actually, it’s a distortion of the space-time continuum, as the car now has black louvres AND red go-faster stripes, and is travelling so fast whilst appearing to be parked up 😎
