Popular Post AdeMorton 15
Have posted a couple of times but thought I ought to make a formal introduction. I've just bought a 2010 Evora NA... slightly frustrating as it was delivered this week while our household is having to self-isolate and I haven't been out in it yet! Will be going for some 'essential' shopping later... Already encountering some of the well known 'niggles', i.e after a whole load of rain this week both drivers and passengers door sills are wet. Fortunately it has a warranty so will be returning shortly to the dealer to get sorted. I hope to do much of the work on it myself and have noticed that Eliseparts are only 20-30mins away (via some great roads) from me 😀. Looking at some of the forum threads it seems Eliseparts are good for non oem parts and deRoure the place to go for official lotus parts? Anyway, I'm based in Northamptonshire, new to Lotus and have come from a BRZ which I did love to be honest, just had an itch for a Lotus! Looking forward to being part of the Lotus community, these forums seem a great place for advice and knowledge... Cheers, Ade 6

Bibs 11,659
Welcome to TLF and Lotus ownership Ade Any dealer (and indeed TLF) can supply OEM parts. There are a few aftermarket suppliers but I've heard nothing but good about EliseParts over the years too. 1 Quote 88 Esprit NA, 89 Esprit Turbo SE, Evora, Evora S, Evora IPS, Evora S IPS, Evora S IPS SR, Evora 400, Elise S1, Elise S1 111s, Evora GT410 Sport Evora NA For forum issues, please contact the Moderators. scotty435 1,169
Looks great, hope you get your niggles sorting asp, then with spring round the corner and hopefully some restrictions lifted, you should be in a position to appreciate how good these cars are. 👍
AdeMorton 15
Hi everyone, thanks for the replies... just come back from the first trip since self-isolation.. absolutely love it!!! Early days, but a real step up from the BRZ... really doesn't matter you can hardly see anything through the back, you can't see the buttons while your driving, you have to plan your exit.... minor details! Soooo pleased with it.... it'll be starting the school run next week. Yep, it was the one from Jon Seal... Cheers, Ade

cdco 54
Looks Great , niggles are all part of the ownership experience . I bought an NA LE back in June for driving fun for 9 months and tinkering fun for 3 ... Currently in tinkering phase ... I'm getting bits from EP as I used to my Elise, DeRoure(Bell&Coalville?) and soon some shiney carbon from Elise Shop, all I've delt with over the previous years with the Elise with no problems. I agree, after looking through the forums for a few months doing the research etc.. it seems there are certain issues that keep cropping up. Just have to put up with badly fitting carpets, cheap plastic bits (the door handle trim came off in my hand as the dealer was going through the virtual handover!), and the already mentioned leaks.. BUT the way the car handles is sublime... 😀 22 minutes ago, Bravo73 said: Welcome to TLF. 👋 What a great choice for your first Lotus. I bet it’s not your last. 😉 I think you maybe right.... If you want a solution for the badly fitting mats, I've just had a custom set made - the company should still have the template so could knock you some up (morethanpolish.com) They've transformed the inside of my car tbh. Celica 10
Looks brill im surprised those niggles of getting wet and door handle aren’t rectified or are they re-occurring known niggles?

Not usually recurring once fixed. On the older cars usually, but not always, sorted by previous owners by now. Quote Alcohol. Sex. Tobacco. Drugs. Chocolate. Meh! NOTHING in this world is as addictive as an Evora +0. It's not for babies! The first guy to ride a bull for fun, was a true hero. The second man to follow him was truly nuts!
