DarrylV8 238
@Bibs don’t suppose you have or are able to get any performance data? did DB’s team source a gearbox? Quote Darryl & Sue Proud to drive and own a true British supercar the Evora GT430

The V8 was put on dyno but its IP belongs to HWA I Believe, it was good for 600bhp + in base tune... They could have gone with any number of gearbox as the engine bay set up allowed mechanical, automatic and DCT. 6 hours ago, jonwat said: All the details in this week's Autocar 😀 So a hint of a truth at last... An Exige class and an Esprit class to replace the Evora and leaving the Elise to posterity. Hum it really is JMG's masterplan.

Gold FFM Barrykearley 7,174 Posted February 4 Gold FFM Report Share Posted February 4 The silhouettes are a bit reminiscent of his era to me. The aspirations much the same so as well. Many folks thought he was crazy at the time. Such a shame the cars he presided over were shitcanned. Quote Only here once

To me the Evija, while spectacular, is too far out designwise, hope the new 131 type is more grounded, especially so if they call it Esprit. Wouldn’t like to see an Evija ‘light’... the cars shown on the autocar cover leave me cold, tbh. 1 Quote Ad initium

Actually they were not canned Barry. Only by Lotus. The Eterne became the AM Rapide and the Esprit looks like today’s Huracan. They took the core of the design as their own. As they say, copies are the best form of flattery. Bloody shame though. Wasted opportunity with some real leading designs... 5 Quote Ad initium

Giniw 298
Maybe I am completely wrong but doesn't that looks a bit like the 131 headlights under the car covers poster earlier? (although I reckon it would be "a bit" odd to have it there first before the official presentation :D) Edited February 7 by Giniw
rallyesax 187
Just seems like a regular Evora US spec to me
Giniw 298
I would say the headlights look slimmer and there are wheels air vents that don't (?) exist in the Evora?

Thats just a standard US Evora GT in the picture. The vents over the wheel are from the GT430 and that was carried over for US GT. The dash is Evora 4xx dash, standard front cover etc. 1 Quote Alcohol. Sex. Tobacco. Drugs. Chocolate. Meh! NOTHING in this world is as addictive as an Evora +0. It's not for babies!
