Mark.A
Komo-Tec have released their 6 speed DCT. It costs €19,990 (around £17360.00) compared to the Jubu 7 speed DCT at €24,990.00 (around £21700.00). https://www.komo-tec.com/en/lotus-exige/mk3-toyota-v6350380/gearbox/782/komo-tec-double-clutch-transmission-ids?c=529 https://www.jubu-performance.com/de/tuning/lotus-dct_-_doppelkupplungs-getriebe-

Leo Exige
VAG DQ250 up tp 650 Nm? They must replace the clutch to some reinforce badass parts.
Wilbert Camshaft
The KomoTec IDS from my point of view is the far better option. The knob with Lotus Logo in the center console looks great and a Wavetrac LSD is included - I'am still waiting for a test drive

Diablos-666
I think Dave at Seriously Lotus (who’s on these forums) will be installing one on one of he’s cars in the coming weeks.
TBD
I had the pleasure of driving in one at Komotec. It really is amazing, certainly good for a few seconds a lap. But equally useful in traffic on the way to the track. Quote If you have the choice between a Stairway to Heaven and a Highway to Hell don't forget the Nomex®! Captain, Lotus Airways. We fly lower! How does it compare to other cars you've driven with DCT? (GT3RS PDK for example?). Was the shorter gearing noticeable? Was it smooth pulling away? Unfortunately I only had the chance as passenger, next to Vinnie, Daniel's favourite test driver. Basically it performs as you would expect. The shifts are really fast (Daniel spent a lot of time tuning this), both automatic and manual modes work very well. Shifts were smooth. We didn't have a chance to see the gearing on public roads. I later accompanied the crew to the Mendig track where the IDS video was made. Also from the outside it performs impressive. At the time "Park" position was not installed on the gearbox, which I saw as a potential downside (knowing the poor handbrake of the Exige). But this may have been fixed by now.
