Hello! First time poster long time fan!

Hi Everyone,

I felt it time I introduce myself here.  I am a huge Lotus fanatic, it has been in my life since I was born.  My dad was the Lotus Cars dealer in Vancouver BC in the 70s & 80s.  We have always had a Lotus Car in the garage and now I have 3 and Dad has 1! 

We really love the early cars, I have a 1969 Europa S2, 1974 Europa TCS & 1983 Turbo Esprit.  My Dad has a 1969 Elan+2.  We had a lot of fun restoring the Elan+2 as a father son project and I hope to get my TCS and Turbo Esprit back running again this year.  The TCS had the engine go and life has been busy and the Turbo Esprit is a recent purchase as a basement find, needing little more than reassembling the engine.

Here are some pictures of the stable.  I am sure I will be looking for pointers on how to improve the Esprit as I rebuild the engine.  Dad also campaigned 3 different Lotus race cars (2-26Rs & 1-47) with his shop and his original business partner own an early Elite as a race car.  The 47 was a little rough by the time they had it but a cool car.

Great story and collection. That'll turn some people green with envy. Is it just the angle of the photo or does the Esprit look like it is sitting very high?
