New Evora owner in Oz

I finally picked up my Fire Red Evora GT430 Sport.

Simply Sports Cars tell me I have 1 of 1 such cars in Australia! 😎

Four GT430's made it to Australia.

Enjoy the GT430 it really is a very special sports car, and deserves far more praise than it receives 

only four that is going to be a pretty rare sight, under 30 GT430’s in UK and in 30 months of ownership don’t recall seeing another on the road whilst driving ours

Hi @Yan. Great car and wow, Fire Red. I am of course very biased and Fire Red is without doubt a superb colour. In the sun, down in Oz, wow, it will be an absolute stunner! Pictures please.

I believe there is only one other Fire Red GT430 globally - a car that went to Holland I think and will be LHD - so yours in probably the ONLY RHD Fire Red, in the world!

I think that your car might be even rarer than you imagine. GT430s are rare enough but GT430 Sports are even rarer still. For the 25-30 GT430s that were sold in the UK, there was only 1 (or maybe 2) GT430 Sports sold.

So, your car is probably 1 of 1 worldwide. In the world of collecting cars, that makes it pretty unique. If you can, I would plan on holding onto to it for as long as possible.

And, obviously, the car doesn't actually exist until we've seen some photos of it. 😉

Pics will come after it gets a ceramic coating and a good wash. I'm busy this weekend so it may be some time before I post my own pics.

I've ordered a certificate of provenance and I'm told it will state 1 of 1.

I hadn't clocked it was a GT430 Sport - definitely a keeper and definitely very very rare, regardless of colour! Don't let it become a garage queen though - it needs driving! 🙂

Fire Red is definitely a great Colour.  I think it's my favourite in the range right now.  It the colour I choose when configuring my dream Evora.

I agree. But I am hugely biased.  Canyon Red is also very similar and similarly wonderful.  But then, Ardent Red shakes my knees too, to be honest.

Another Lotus in Oz. Great stuff. As the others have said, so rare it has to be a keeper.
