westy 3
What you guys doing for servicing if your not using your cars? My 06 111R has basically sat in the garage for most of the year on trickle charge. Take it out for a quick drive once a month just so it gets to move, probably done <200 miles this year. Are you continuing with full servicing, just getting an oil change. Not bothering ? Quote Steve 06 Elise 111R - Black

Gold FFM jep 1,034 Posted February 13 Gold FFM Report Share Posted February 13 MOT and check over on my 340R when it has hardly had any use. I have even delayed a cambelt change by a year if mileage really low. Owned from new (21 years, 42,000 miles). Once a car gets beyond 10 years old, annual servicing or 'by the book' servicing does not affect the value. That does not mean neglect, just common sense if a car has not been used. westy 3
Been thinking about it some more. I think if I'm going to be able to do track days this year then I'll get it properly serviced and checked over. If it's going to be stuck in the garage it's just an oil change I think.
