Gold FFM thebartman 126 Posted February 18 Gold FFM Report Share Posted February 18 I was just doing some minor work on the carbs today (balancing) and as I was finishing up, saw a small amount of liquid around the head of the nut labelled in the picture. I cleaned it up, tightened it up, and checked the other three. This is the carb right over the dizzie !! Questions Are these bolts susceptible/liable to work their way loose? Is there a safe/practical way to use some type of glue/fixant to prevent this loosening, whilst still retaining possible access? As usual, TIA
DaKa 50
Is it the pump jet holder - I serviced/balanced mine recently but don't recall any weeping from from this screw. The link below will allow you to confirm the part - I'd be wary of using anything extra to secure or seal it. https://www.dellorto.co.uk/clickable/dhla-parts-diagram/?TB_iframe=true&width=1024&height=
Gold FFM thebartman 126 Posted March 9 Author Gold FFM Report Share Posted March 9 It is, and all I've done is to replace the fibre washer (on all 4 carbs). Leak appears to be cured.
