PAR
Did you check europa engineering (ex banks) already? Â otherwise Paul Matty.

NG5
I think any of the tinted glass other than windscreens are very rare now. I suspect you will only be able to find one second hand, which in practice means phoning Europa Engineering or waiting for years for one to pop up on ebay. The part number for what it's worth is 054B0668A (plain is 054B0668) It's only single curvature glass so you might possibly be able to get one cut by a specialist auto glass merchant. (As an aside the quarter light which looks double curvature is also single curvature just cut on a bias) Good luck, I think you will need it 🤞
andydclements
I don't know but suspect that glass was made for another car originally, in which case a car glazing firm may be able to cross reference which one and you may have a bit more luck that way. I've never looked for that piece, it's just that something about the shape of the glass vs shape of the car makes me think it was a case of make do with what was available at the time.
europa88
Thanks for the input guys, Richard Winter is looking for something second hand for me and I have mailed Pilkington Classic who could possibly make something if I supply the dimensions. Not sure how to measure the curve though 😕
andydclements
@europa88 For the curve, as long as it's a constant curve, you can measure the distance between the ends of the glass and how far the surface is from a straight line between those ends For example it might be 20 inches tall and have a deflection of an inch in the middle.
NG5
Quote  I have mailed Pilkington Classic who could possibly make something if I supply the dimensions The originals were by Triplex which is part of Pilkington and unique to Lotus, but were cut from standard curved glass that they manufactured at that time 68-> so were cheap! No idea how many curves they made but I doubt it was many so perhaps your curve measurement might not need to be spot on. If it's any use I've just looked at mine (which are clear) and the markings are: Triplex Toughened DOT17-M30-AS2 XXXX D123 TF The XXXX is actually an up and down zigzag but couldn't type that The D might have been 1) difficult to tell. Pilkington might be able to get something from their records from that.
