DaveFRC1 1
Doing some minor restorations on my 89 Turbo SE. Please let me know if this foam on top of the tank should be retained or discarded. If discarded, what is the recommended replacement? I only have this foam glued to the top, is there typically other foam as well (that a prior owner may have removed)? Much appreciated! Gold FFM Sparky 2,954 Posted February 28 Gold FFM Report Share Posted February 28 Similar foam should exist top and bottom of the tank. Discard it and replace with closed-cell foam, which doesn't retain moisture. 2 Quote British Fart to Florida, Nude to New York, Dunce to Denmark, Numpty to Newfoundland.
