1983 Turbo Esprit handbrake

Hi, I ended up without any handbrake after pulling the lever very hard while trying to park the car in a steep hill.  The cable operates well on both calipers but upon removal I found that the thread in the black part in the attached picture is damaged (on both calipers).  Does anybody know where I can find a replacement part?  I just need this black part and not the whole caliper.  Thanks.

Can only suggest you speak to Steve at S J Sports cars, he will know.

if they can't help try PNM Engineering as they do replacement callipers. I am slightly surprised the thread is damaged on both callipers, you are unlucky.

I have had the same issue on both, I think its a design fault.

You say the "thread" is damaged, this is not a thread , its a ratchet. If you insert the piston and turn it 45 degrees it will not go in any further but it will pull straight out.  I have found it very hard to get any information on these calipers never mind parts.
