Beady
Love the looks. Agree with most that the expected launch spec of circa 4.5s 0-60 is disappointing and slower than all the outgoing cars. Needs to be circa 4.2 to get any attention from other markets. 1 Quote construction and property consultants : My company
j141
I think there has been a miscommunication somewhere re the engines I have seen a few outlets say the same thing, this is what it says on the Lotus site I think the 4 cylinder will be 60k 360bhp the v6 will be 70-80k 400 bhp Edited July 6, 2021 by j141
Gold FFM TdM Posted July 6, 2021 Gold FFM Report Share Posted July 6, 2021 I also think somehow the rear wheel looks smaller than the front in a lot of pictures.

Well I think they avoided all the details on purpose, letting it be disclosed by all the third parties videos ready to be launched that just popped out. It's probably better to generate some noise around the car. If we knew it all already, we might not have watched a couple of other videos already. It's better for the brand that these third parties videos have a lot of views.

Popular Post Francisco Franco
What a lovely looking car, well done all at Hethel. The power figures seem ok to me and are far higher BHP/Ton wise than the first S1 Elise’ so I am sure there is fun to be had in this model, although I realise they are two very different types of car. I realise some people want more BHP and a little less weight, and I am sure that will come along in time. As I get fatter and older this car is very appealing to me, auto box, low door cills and a few gadgets, But if I was a youngster I would feel truly cheated that I had missed out on the Elise/Exige range. It would be great if in the future Lotus could make an MX5/ 60’s Elan type budget sports car, but realistically I think those days have been and gone. Disappointed to see the Toyota V6 still hanging around, But pleased to see they are using the AMG which I believe has many relatively cheap upgrades available to it. I felt for Mr Windle, I thought he looked exhausted
Gold FFM C8RKH Posted July 6, 2021 Gold FFM Report Share Posted July 6, 2021 By the way, especially in the yellow pictures above, anyone notice how much lower the engine is sited - much lower than the Evora if you look at the view out the back! That bodes really well for CoG and handling. 6 minutes ago, Francisco Franco said: It would be great if in the future Lotus could make an MX5/ 60’s Elan type budget sports car It will be electric and lot of fun! 1 Quote I came into this world screaming and covered in someone elses blood. Giniw
On the Evora it's the chargecooler & compressor which are on the top, isn't it? At least the chargecooler might have been relocated?
Francisco Franco
That’s what I was thinking too, would be a shame for that sort of car to disappear

Back in the early 2000s, you could buy a Mitsubishi Evo VIII FQ400 with 405 bhp (411 PS) from its 2 litre in line 4 cylinder engine. It’s taken AMG nigh on 20 years to match that. 2
