Engine oil temp. gauge etc. for GT 410 Sport IPS.......

Recommended Posts

*****

I have a new GT 410 Sport IPS and miss an engine oil temp gauge.
The blue and red "oil temp situation" indicators are insufficient for such a fine machine as the Evora.

I therefore mounted digital temp. meters for:
1) Engine oil temp meter
2) Auto transmission oil temp.meter
3) Compressor cooling temp.meter
The location of the temp. senders mounted:
ad 1) Engine bloc / hose connector >>> transporting hot engine oil to coolers
ad 2) Transmission housing / hose connector >>> transporting hot transmission oil to cooler
ad 3) Compressor housing / hose connector >>> transporting hot water to compressor water cooling
Location of gauges:
ad 1) beyond the Alpine navigation (right) etc.
ad 2) beyond the Alpine navigation (left) etc.
ad 3) above the rear mirror.IMG_20210507_234415.thumb.jpg.22b0aebe5a9999692ecc9d5b95586a4f.jpg

Hi Ruud,

compliments on a very good looking install

i think the Lotus rational for keeping the number of displays to a minimum was to enable customers to drive their cars and not keep looking/reviewing further detailed information on what was a GT car, although I suspect your proximity to the German road system may allow you to drive your car harder than we possibly can in the UK; not only on racetracks before other hardcore members remind us that Lotus cars are for track use as well

Proud to drive and own a true British supercar the Evora GT430
