Hi all

i have searched this but couldn’t find an answer.

is it normal for the IPS P, R,N and D selection buttons to stay illuminated after the car has been turned off and locked ?

I very much doubt it. I am not sure how the Exige gets the signal for the lights, but I would start looking for a selector switch on the gearbox that tells the lights which gear you are in. I would suggest it is at fault. That would be my best guess and could also be completely incorrect as I have never heard of the issue before.

Ours stays illuminated about 20-30seconds, after removing key etc.

Well must be new owner paranoia.

lights are off this morning, sorry folks.

as part of my tinkering I found the battery seems to be the wrong size but that’s a separate issue

Had a similar worry with one of the lights on the dash being on for a while after I locked the car.

Mine stays up minutes, not seconds after I shut down the car. Easily 5 or 10.
