I've seen this on the enemy forum! Worth pointing out That the diamond cut alloys are different, they aren't the rough matt black from the show car we've been seeing, rather a glass black now. Pictures are from china so maybe this is only in china?

Those diamond cuts are noticeably different to the Seneca Blue show car.  Main part is black gloss rather than matte grey, accent is much more silvered than the engineered finish on the show car.  Both look good.  The show car looks more like the diamond cuts on my Evora, which I like.

I wouldn't "choose" diamond cut wheels, certainly would not pay extra for them. They are pain. The lacquer will crack on them, water will get behind and they will corrode. never seen a pair that haven't, especially if the care is a daily. Diamond cut looks great brand new, but in time they all just start to look shit and are a pain to get repaired/refurbished.  Just my thoughts.

I did not expect the yellow to look this nice. Now give us a red one, come on, Lotus!

Anyway, regarding wheels, I've never had diamond cut before and never looked into it before reading the commentary here. I take it they are not advised for anyone who doesn't take perfect care of their wheels all of the time?

Shame, I thought for the Seneca Blue the diamond cuts look best... also hope we lose the gloss again.

I think it is, plus the fact that the Hethel Yellow sample is right next to it so there's some reflective color bounce.

We had the diamond cut wheels on the Exige roadster (2015-2018) with no issues

Yellow has not been talked about much. These images will change that and some people might jump over. 

Have to say , it looks the mutts nuts and @TomE must be delighted.

Mind you, one might not be able to change colour and not face an extra month or two delay.

Hopefully, we will know more about this in January.

Absolutely, I'm really happy with how the yellow looks.  It is a good match with the more accurate indoor and outdoor renders done by Eagle7

 

There's been a decent amount of discussion about it.  When the samples were available at the roadshows there were concerns about it not being metallic (including from me).  Lots of us trying to compare it with previous Lotus yellows to see what was closest.  It looks like it will be a slightly mustardy tint rather than the more lemony colour on the configurator, so very much a traditional Lotus yellow.  That's going to be great.
