Pics/measurements (depth) of the space behind the seats would be much appreciated.

It will be pretty similar/identical to the current 2+0 Evora. The wheelbase is the same between the 2 cars.

When I asked they said 280L of space and 151L of boot space. Essentially you can fit a cabin bag behind each seat.

I forgot to look behind me when I was sat in it!

I haven't seen a picture of the boot behind the engine.  Is that same as it was on the Evora?  Did they spruce it up a little?

If the car is not from the UK or Italy; it's not worth talking about.

From the Emira picture thread (via Goodwood):

So to answer: yes, no.

I like the shroud around the engine.  Looks more finished than previous models.

That's what I thought it was.

Had a second look. You're absolutely correct.

In the Evora 2+0 the dimension for the interior space is:

Behind the seats:  51x32x116cm (H x D x W)

The boot is roughly cm:   152x30x25cm

Would be cool if someone measures the Emira... 😉

I believe the bit is around 10L smaller than the Evora.

Would be interesting to know, for comparison, what the size of the Evora rear  (behind the seats) is in Litres. I can't find the answer on the internet at the moment.

I forget to take my tape measure but they weren't massively happy with me pawing all over it anyway.

If it has an engine, I am there to thrash it.

Had a good poke about the grey one today.  There is less space behind the seat than an Evora as the engine bulkhead has been moved forward a little creating more space in the engine bay and less in the cabin.

I hope the weather held out for you. Did the Lotus stand have queues all day again?

Did anybody tell you how many deposits they had taken for Saturday?

The weather was fine, thank you.  There were queues in the morning but as a deposit holder I was allowed straight onto the stand.  Towards the end of the day people could just walk on.
Spoke to a number of staff about the blue and grey cars.  Blue one was closed today but sat in the grey one.

I didn’t ask anyone about deposits.

When I see that correctly: Evora

Behind the seats: 189 Litres

Boot: 114 Litres

If somebody could actually measure the compartment behind the seats - especially including the passenger seat moved forward - it'd be freaking awesome. Having always loved Lotuses (Loti? ;)) I have just ordered my Emira as my first sports car ever and trying to figure out if there'll be any way to fit my wheelchair behind the seats (making it a two-person car for me then) or if it's always going to need to occupy the passenger seat.

It had a bit of depth and breadth so you may be in luck there. Hopefully somebody sees this comment today and measures it at Goodwood.

I certainly hope so!

Regarding Lotus in plural - thanks, guys, I'm feeling fully educated now. 😁
