Yes, cancelled because of how badly they have been treated and before test drives.  Customer care and the buying experience, lack of faith in Lotus to improve in those areas, concerns about aftersales support being equally bad, and the re-sequencing of pre-reveal folks so that none of them are getting cars first.

There are several others in the pre-reveal group who are on the point of cancelling but are waiting for test drives before making a final decision.

Would have hoped that to actually drive it would convince them to follow through with their orders. 

Totally understand about the concerns over after sale support, especially when there are 'loads' more out and about and needing any warranty/parts etc.

Placed my deposit on 7th July. Only contact I’ve had was in response to an email I sent about poor communication. The response has indicated FE i4 will be September 23 and Base Edition cars will be a time period after that (2024?).

 

Reading this thread though some other i4 deposit holders have already moved to 2nd deposits and much earlier deliveries initially indicated.

 

Is it therefore completely random when you will get your car and no attempt is being made to follow order of deposits?

Following the updates in the last two weeks, the earliest i4 date I've seen is July 2023 for a pre-reveal deposit.  Most are August onwards for reveal day (6 July), so Sept for a 7 July deposit appears to fit with that.

I have been given October, so September looks about right.

Once I actually committed to a FE i4 and paid 2nd Deposit I have been told September build and I was 10th July deposit. 
If I had held out for an i4 Customer spec as I’d always intended it was looking like summer 24.
All I had to do was convince the boss that the only FE colour I liked she would like as well. Not an easy task, and many gins later and showing the videos of the cars out and about she agreed that yellow was the nicest of the bunch. I’ve never had a yellow car before (well apart from a Datsun Cherry estate I had for 3 months sharing with somebody which I’d rather forget) as a red/white man but finally good to make a decision.

I have officially checked out confirming my purchase! Super excited to become a Lotus owner😁! Delivery expected beginning of February

Bitter sweet as the timing is now so bloody awful for me, anyone who has been late twenties, needing to upsize the house whilst having majority of wedding payments due AND most of all a fiancee dying to have a baby before shes 30 will understand my pain right now!  BUT after waiting this long and spending hours and hours reading every post ever on this forum and maybe some from the other one I refuse to not have this car, however short amount of time it ends up being it will be worth it. Just wish It had arrived last May  Hopefully I can make it work till the wedding in May, would look pretty cool in front of the venue in contrast to the Jaguar Mk2 and be in all the pictures

So little to post about lately but my protect and enhance email arrived yesterday so hopefully that's a sign that things are moving.

Now I'm proper excited. Checkout email arrived yesterday, did it this morning. ( Had a few issues with Chrome and had to call CS - resolved by using wife's tablet, not my laptop). Spent most of last night reading about all the possible extras, just selected wheel and tyre insurance.
