Gold FFM DaveC72 Posted August 27, 2021 Gold FFM Report Share Posted August 27, 2021 Having done a damn good search of the forum, I can't seem to find a definitive cost for replacing discs and pads on the Evora 400. I've just been quoted circa £1600 fitted by the local dealer... and have no idea if this is reasonable or not, but web searches for similar parts (not OEM) suggest that this is on the punchier side... I remember hearing that Lotus had significantly reduced the price and there was a TLF article on this, but nowhere is the price listed. Any ideas? Greg | ValetPro
I've found Yvo at Elise Shop to be good for this sort of thing. https://www.elise-shop.com/brakes-c-9.html?zenid=cc207rg53j9c9iq0bfkr7rcue1 Not sure if they stock your items but might be worth an email. Or ES MotorSports https://www.esmotorsport.co.uk they also sell parts. 1 Quote All the Best Greg
Bruss
That seems a lot. Have you tried Hofmanns over in Henley?
Gold FFM TomE Posted August 27, 2021 Gold FFM Report Share Posted August 27, 2021 I was looking for my Evora S and it was a similar story, the Lotus OEM ones are pricey and the Eliseparts ones are quite a bit less. Looks like it's the same part for the 400? https://www.eliseparts.com/shop/braking/brake-discs/evora-sport-cross-drilled-brake-discs/ https://www.eliseparts.com/shop/braking/brake-pads/v6-exige-evora-ferodo-pads-a132j0001s/ Edit: this might be the thread you were looking for, which includes the link to the TLF article about Lotus reductions:

au-yt
I replaced the front rotors only on my 400 in 2019, I still cannot get over the price of the factory ones.. in Australia they were $5000.00 or 2,600 GBP 🤑 but being on a track day and a brake with run out I didn't have an option. Luckily they did me deal. I even looked at the AP listing and they are LOTUS specific , but I'm sure there will be others available by now
geartox
It seems that the front pads of the Exige V6 and front pads of the Evora 400 are the same. references are the same based on deroure database : A132J0001S. can you confirm it ?
geartox
It's not correct. front pads of the Exige have the same ref than Evora rear pads.
