Phil S1
More LitP raffle prizes have been generously donated for this year's event. Car Service Packs (https://www.carservicepacks.co.uk/) have given us a £75 voucher - for those that don't know them they supply high-spec oils and other service items by mail order at very competitive prices. The proprietor Graham Laslett is an Elise racer. Check out their website. Thanks Graham! My Lotus Parts (https://www.mylotusparts.com/) have given us a £100 voucher. My Lotus Parts are a new business sourcing and supplying genuine Lotus parts for the Elise and Exige platform cars, and have taken over the business of well known and respected Lotus man, Phil 'Junks' Peeks. Thank you My Lotus Parts! Both businesses will be at Chatsworth for the event. The raffle prize draw will take place after our picnic lunch at Chatsworth on the big day, Sunday 10th July 2022. All proceeds go to our supported charity Rainbows Hospice for children and young people with life-limiting conditions. To buy raffle tickets, and to pay for entry to the event if you haven't already, go to https://www.midlandslotus.co.uk/, or if you prefer, you can pay the entry fee on the gate at Chatsworth and buy raffle tickets at the MLOC gazebo. We look forward to seeing you there! The LitP organising team

Phil S1
Here's two more prizes to tell you about. Firstly a new sponsor for LitP - Steve Gill of Maverick Coatings Limited (based near Burton on Trent) has offered us a fabulous prize that will feature in our charity auction. He is offering to re-coat the auction winner's Lotus wheels up to the value of £250 (more than sufficient to do any wheels of 19 inches or less). So bring your wallets and be ready to bid on the day! What a great prize! Thank you Steve. Here's a link to Steve's Facebook page Maverick Coatings Secondly, another great raffle prize from somebody who needs no introduction - our very good friends at Eliseparts.com. A superb lightweight racing trolley jack! If you're looking for a part for your Lotus then Eliseparts are hard to beat! Thank you guys! You can email them at [email protected] or call on 01480 860002 All proceeds from the auction and raffle go to the Rainbows Hospice for children and young people
Phil S1
We're on the final countdown now and have another two more prizes to tell you all about! Paul Golding of Lotus on Track has yet again been most generous in donating TWO track days, one at Donington Park, the other on the Silverstone GP circuit. Thanks Paul! These will feature in our pre-lunch charity auction so dust off those wallets ready ☺️ In our opinion Lotus on Track are the best organised track days so if you're thinking about doing one then Lotus on Track is the way to go. https://www.lotus-on-track.com/ Edited July 4 by Phil S1
LotusFella
I was just wondering how many people on her are going to this. it's always difficult to work out who is who at these events. I remember at the Hethel 70th there must have been loads of people from here but as I have never seen their faces was not able to say 👋. I wonder if we should all wear name badges 😂 at the BBQ on Friday

I'll keep a low profile, but the car will be easy to spot: an Excel on Belgian plates. 😉 2 Quote I have made many mistakes in my life. Buying a multiple Lotus is not one of them. LotusFella
not receive anything yet. Here's my receipt
deanb
LotusFella if you don't have the email then it could be that mloc has the wrong email address for you? You can go to the mloc website as the pack is published on there. To answer your question about the Matlock Bath Run, the start point is Matlock Bath railway station car park (do not go to Matlock railway station by mistake!) and we ask people to be there by 6.50am although 7am would be perfectly fine. If you continue to have problems pm me on the mloc website (username DeanB). I will see you at Matlock Bath on Sunday 😊 Dean
LotusFella
I have spoken to Oakhill hotel and if there is enough demand they can get the chef in early on Sunday for breakfast before we leave on the run. Is anyone staying there interested? It is included in the room. Need to know rough numbers. So I’ll start please add yourself and I’ll let them know. Laser Blue S1 Exige driven by a short fat middle-aged chap with grey hair and an air of disappointment about his delayed Emira delivery I'm staying at Oakhill, will be at the Friday BBQ, doing the Saturday Pootle run and Matlock route on Sunday. Early brekkie at Oakhill on Sunday would be great if there's enough demand, but we've also got food at the Hassops Cafe stop.
LotusFella
haha. I'll be in the Red Evora 400. average height average build slight pot belly greying hair. big nose (Italian heritage😂). Phil S1
Well, we have been absolutely amazed by the support we've received for our charity auction and raffle this year. Our LitP sponsors and friends have done us proud with prizes still rolling in even today! A massive thank you one and all! Here are the full lists for you all to savour. Be sure to purchase plenty of raffle tickets and bid furiously on Sunday and let's raise as much money as we possibly can for Rainbows. Thanks and see you all soon The LitP Team

Gold FFM Popular Post blindside Posted July 11 Gold FFM Popular Post Report Share Posted July 11 On 03/05/2022 at 20:15, scotty435 said: Jimmy (Blindside) is booked in for MLOCs Lotus in the peak this July, its going to be a fantastic event with runs in the Peak District and the main event being held at Chatsworth House. 200 Cars already booked and looks like there could upto 300 cars on the day. Would amazing to have some additional 430s at the event. Great to catch-up with you at the weekend Scotty & also to meet fellow 430 lover @OakMan What a fantastic event to participate in yesterday! The convoy of over 270 lotus cars of all ages to Chatsworth House was a sight to behold. Owners from all over the UK and as far away as Hungary. Definitely nothing like it since the Lotus 70th Anniversary celebration at Hethel. Hats off to MLOC for staging such a well organised event. The sales & marketing guys at Lotus really missed a trick by not having an Emira on show, but apart from that what a showcase! I’m on the boat back to Ireland having spent a weekend driving on some of the best roads in the Peak District & North Wales in glorious weather. The Cup2’s really proved their worth. What’s not to like. 😎 5 1
Gold FFM Escape Posted July 11 Gold FFM Report Share Posted July 11 Indeed a great event! I very much enjoyed the morning run and was pleased my old Excel could hold her own in the mainly modern company. Thanks to everyone who made it possible! Gold FFM Heathermead Posted July 11 Gold FFM Report Share Posted July 11 Hi Jimmy, good to meet you yesterday, you’re spot on it was a great event & would be a good central location to get more GT430 owners together in the future.
