Gold FFM Escape Posted December 20, 2021 Gold FFM Report Share Posted December 20, 2021 That wont fit a V8 with only only intake. It will fit all later 4-pots: SE, S4, S4s and GT3. I have a used one on the shelf as well. Quote I have made many mistakes in my life. Buying a multiple Lotus is not one of them.
sailorbob
That is a V8 sports exhaust for the pre-centre exit models.
Giniw
Indeed: dual entry and dual exit too. But doesn't it look like a standard V8 silencer? (rather than a "racing" one?) The 2.0 (GT3 and 2.0L market cars like Italy) has a LH exit, whereas the 2.2 has a RH exit (Why, I still wonder though ) As @sailorbob said this one is for a V8 engine though. mike_sekinger
Clearly it is not a race part. It is just the "Track us only" notation on the Sports muffler. My bad, I didn't scroll through all the pictures and didn't see the entry and exit on the RH. But that means it doesn't fit a 4-pot, right? As for RH or LH exit, my '90 SE had a LH exit, my '89 SE has a RH exit. I looked it up and both are as standard, for some reason it was changed. Maybe old 2.2 SE stock was used for the 2.0?
