Hi Chalermsak Panitpichetvong,

please do not think your getting away lightly.lol

We now know your the only member from Thailand but are you the only Esprit in Thailand?

Tell us why you picked the S4s and the problems you had getting the Esprit into Thailand (Customs must of had fun - occhhh expensive) and who now works on it.

The problems you have had and the other cars you drive(as 13k kms for an S4s) is not alot for an Esprit of this age!

Where abouts in Thailand are you, as other members sometime goes there on business. Can bring you upgraded Brembo's/ green stuff,- mobile 1 etc...lol

We have a member in Singapore (BlackV8?/Dr.Wong?).

We would like to hear your story please!

Welcome to the forum. What can we call you for short as my spelling is atrocious even for words I know?

I've wanted to visit Thailand for a long time, ever since a friend first went there about 10 years ago. How tight are the speeding rules and what are the roads like?

Thanks everyone, very warm welcome. There are about 30+ Esprits in Thailand, four S300, about 10-S4s, the rest are S4 and SE, many elise and elan. There is no V8 in Thailand. I bought my car on 2002, only 300km on the clock. This cars was kept old by Lotus dealer without driving. So when I got it, there were so many problems: stucked injector, leaked clutch cylinder, rusted fuel tank, oil pressure sender dead, clock dead, leaked air cond, and few more, can't remember. My car has many mods. I think, may be, I have very best break setup. Pls take a look at garage section. All my mods and service was done by my friend. He is Lotus-certified machanic. He had some problem with his boss at Lotus dealer. So he is on his own. Cars in the picture, 1st is S4, 2nd S4s and 3rd is SE. That S4s change front spoiler. It looked like V8. That picture was taken during one Lotus owners meeting, organized by Mr. Zavier. I forgot which country he came from. He drives Elise and he is racing car nuts. We have many meeting a year. Sometime join meeting with other cars, Ferrary, Lambo, Porsche etc. Most meetings was arranged on early sunday morning. And we driver together. You can imegine, 30 supercars driving together. Just like hell break loose. It was fun. Next time I'll take picture and post in this forum. BTW you can call me "Chale". The story is when I went to study in USA in 1984. Computer at my school print my last name first and then can't finish my first name. It can print only "Chale".

Yes, I live in Bangkok. There are three Esprits in Chonburi 1-S4s, 1-S4 and 1-SE. The first two belong to one guy. He is the owner of Nong Nuch Village. He also own GT40, Hammer H1 & H2 and many fast cars. Your parent knows where Nong Nuch Village is. BTW how is your elise. I've a chance to take a ride with Mr.Zavier's elise on race track. Very good handling car. While he is connering, his G-meter show 1.19G. very very impress me.

Chale, its interesting to read about owning Esprits in Thailand ;)

Any of your friends have an older Giugiaro Esprit?

Sad to read your Lotus dealer is a crook (seems to be a worldwide problem) :)

Maybe Lotus should review there franchises ;)

Hi Wayne, I think only one G model here. Many years ago I saw S1 in Phuket Island, southern province (this island was hit by Dec26, Tsunami).

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

You're not talking about the James-Bond-Island, do you? ;)

Elise handling is great, at the moment my daily driver.

But I will get the Excel on the road again from September on.

There was a Lotus dealer on the way from the airport to Bangkok City. Is he still there?

Thinking of Sukhumvit Rd. traffic I really don't like the idea of driving a Lotus in downtown area

Mr. Bond Island is in another province next to Phuket. This island was not hit by Dec26 Tsunami. Dealer that you saw is still there. But now showroom for Lambo. Dealer for Lotus and lambo is the same.
