So he does spend some time awake in his chair then?

Just enough for someone to whisper something in his ear for him to repeat in front of the camera.

I have made many mistakes in my life. Buying a multiple Lotus is not one of them.

Ok guys, at least he's not constantly lying liked the person referred to on Page 26 of the New York Times in 12 point font as running for President 2024.

Britain sending helicopters to Ukraine for first time   - but  only 3 old sea kings

Three former British military Sea Kings will be provided and the first has already arrived, the BBC understands.

In the last six weeks, Ukrainian crews were trained in the UK to fly and maintain the aircraft - to provide search and rescue capabilities.

That's a very capable and robust platform for S&R, should serve them well.

No, As RR was closing,  around 1991-2, a number of the office staff had the chance to spend a couple of days taking a Gem & Gnome apart and trying to put back together again. One of the best courses I ever went on. (better than the IT courses etc..)

I don't think Ukraine will be asking me over to rebuild the engines though. (Sort of back on topic..)

When is Russia going to stop? What is wrong with these people?

Surely it can’t be solely Putin that keeps making these decisions?

If you're an athlete living in a country that wrongly started a war with sovereign country, please expect you shan't be going to any international events or competing.  It should go without saying, BUT these are difficult times.

Is it not quite clear by now what a lot of corrupt nabobs these international sporting regulators are?  Duh.

It was amazing and didn't pull any punches. Really very brutal showing them killing Russian troops with drones bombs and morters.

Do you have a VPN? I work with one as I have to have one for work but they are very good for security on the home PC's as well. You can then choose a UK server and watch it :)

Possibly save your life. Check out this website.

@Kimbers How do I set up a VPN?

Anyway, can someone explain to me how, if Putin is charged with war crimes, how the International Court in The Hague will be able to enforce any judgement on him? He'll just stay in Russia and blow raspberries at the ICC, or I am missing something?

The latest missile attack on an apartment building in Ukraine is horrendous. I don't fully understand the politics behind it all and unfortunately, I don't think anything I read on the internet can be believed. I think it is a matter of taking the best and the opposing worst stories and trying to work out some sort of middle ground, but that could all be rubbish as well.

Some routers and NAS boxes can enable VPN's but the easiest way is to run an app on your phone or program on PC/MAC.

So your research to get a good reliable one. There are some dodgy ones usually free. Some anti virus software offers VPN options.

Personally I use ExpressVPN which has been good and gets good reviews. There are often discount vouchers knocking around on some YouTube videos but I could not tell you if there are today. Be aware that some apps are now aware of VPN's being used for regional block work around so YMMV.

PS. I am not @Kimbers

Putin will quite assuredly never face procedural consequences for this war, that would be inconceivable in any scenario other than total capitulation of Russian sovreignty. As long as sufficient Russians accept the present hierarchy as legitimate they will persist in seeing this as defense against the menace of an ever-e panding West. That is not particularly untrue, by the way, and fairly typical in the course of history to date. We have rightly preferred trade over war with any number of deplorable regimes but Russia, China and their allies now seek to permanently secure their status through military means. I fear the years to come will see worse should the West not succeed in crippling Russia meaningfully at this juncture.

@lotus....

It's about more than Ukraines intentions or potential destination

It's imperialistic views, aspirations and inferiority complex of the higher echelons of Russian/Soviet archaic philosophy, put politely

Don't forget the millions killed in the famine
