Jack Stone
Saw TSWLM on the big screen at the weekend at the Prince Charles Cinema, Leicester Sq. Still one of the greatest movie car chases IMHO. 1 Quote But remember one thing: don't lose your head to a woman that'll spend your bread: Lotus Turbo Esprit (89-11); Lotus Esprit GT3 (12-14): Lotus Evora S (14-17); Lotus Esprit V8 SE "UK Last 15" (18-...) exeterjeep
The best bit is when the car comes out of the water and Bond drops the fish out, plus the reactions of the people on the beach.

Which was Roger Moore's idea which Cubby Broccoli and Lewis Gilbert humoured him. But it worked in the cutting room, so they used it. 2
Jack Stone
When Roger suggested it, Cubby asked how the fish could have got inside the car underwater. Roger apparently replied saying something like: "It's a movie, Cubby!" 2 Quote But remember one thing: don't lose your head to a woman that'll spend your bread: Lotus Turbo Esprit (89-11); Lotus Esprit GT3 (12-14): Lotus Evora S (14-17); Lotus Esprit V8 SE "UK Last 15" (18-...) Popular Post exeterjeep
Also quite a small fish, would not have worked with a much larger one. The audience could easily believe that a car that can transform like that (?) would let in some water/fish when the wheels/fins/prop moved. Also being a British car from such a well respected quality car company would never leak. Don't think the joke would have worked so well on a Rolls Royce. 3

Unlikely, given that the above water live action sequences were filmed in Sardinia (and Pinewood). Edited April 27 by Fridge
