1980 Esprit S2 SJ Gear change Modification

I'm sure it's on here somewhere but I cannot find it, are there any pics of how the gear change mod fits on  and in particular where the little bit pictured goes in.

To the best of my knowledge, this is the bush that locates the centring pin in the bracket that sits in the middle between the two linkage tubes. Look at the bracket that’s attached to the engine housing midship.
