lotusforsale.com
For sale is my 2014 Lotus Evora S. • Sport Racer (all packs) • Manual • 2+2 • 15,200 miles (it will be used so will go up a tiny bit) Fully loaded with all the extras as per the Sport Racer spec, and in a very rare Daytona Blue- this was a specially ordered colour not available on the factory options. It also has been upgraded with the GTE carbon spoiler (I will also include the original spoiler) by the previous owner. The car is in fantastic condition all round. The bodywork, wheels, and paint are excellent, as is the interior (No dashboard warping either). There are no faults- everything works as it should. Vastly over-serviced based on mileage, always by Lotus themselves or a Lotus specialist. Its most recent service was in May at Bell and Colvill. Services at: 1,018 / 7,078 / 7,500 / 8,571 / 13,943 miles. Tyres are Michelin Pilot Sport 4S’s all round, with 6mm left on the front and 4mm on the rear. Plenty of life left in the brake pads and discs, as you’d expect at this mileage. Both keys and all paperwork, original brochure etc supplied. Smoke free, pet free. There is no finance on the car. I’m happy to answer any questions you have, just get in touch. I don’t think you’ll find a more stunning example of a supercharged Evora, it’s a fantastic car and turns heads everywhere it goes with the bright colour and GT4 wing. Unfortunately I need a more practical car and don’t have the space to keep this as well. Any test drives will be driven by myself, unless you have evidence that you have fully comprehensive insurance on the car. I’m based right by J3 on the M25. You may notice from a HPI or MOT check a discrepancy in the mileage- this is due to the instrument cluster being replaced under warranty at 4,583 miles (due to a sticky speedo), so the odometer reset to zero at this point, and the Odometer on the dashboard reads 4,583 miles less than the cars true mileage. Lotus can correct this if you like. I have all the receipts from the Lotus dealership and a stamp in the service book relating to this for peace of mind (shown in the images too). More pics to come once it’s been cleaned properly on the weekend! ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Full details and specifications…. Sport Racer spec includes the following packs: • Sport Pack • Tech Pack • Premium pack • Premium Suede-tex (Alcantara) trim pack. Gareth44
Lovely colour and good luck with the sale. I have the same car and colour but 2015. I am curious to know where you got that stat in the ad of only 3 in this colour, as my provenance pack from Lotus states there are 7 Sports Racers S's in that colour, of which mine is the last. I'm wondering if you have the split between manual and IPS, is that where the 3 comes from? I don't have the split and would be keen to know. 92spicer
Ah interesting. The previous owner told me, he was pretty certain of it so I believed him (but have never looked into it myself). I've seen a bunch of his posts around various forums with others discussing it too. Maybe I'll just remove that bit! 😅
Gareth44
Oops sorry! I'm happy to believe there are 3 Daytona Blue manual S SRs 🙂
92spicer
Just thought I would check-in here, what do you think is a fair price for this? (It's my car that I'm selling privately). I have knocked the price down a bit, but thought I would have had more interest than I have had so far. https://www.lotusforsale.com/ads/2014-evora-s-manual-22-sport-racer-15k-miles/ I'm also interested to hear more about Collecting cars etc, as scmt above is
jep
I would return your S to standard, the rear wing shouts 'boy racer' which I suspect is putting some off. I would think a dealer price is £49k with a proper warranty, private sale nearer £45k. Collecting Cars is a lottery. Ask them what they think but I suspect they'll reserve at £40k, which is too low. Justin
92spicer
Hi folks, just thought I'd check in and see what you think the right price for the Evora S I'm selling would be. Maybe I was being optimistic but I thought I would sell it straight away! It's the Daytona Blue ad at £46,500 link
jerzybondov
Feels a little like that might be the price a dealer would have it at? And once you get into that rarified territory north of 40k buyers can get a bit wary of private sellers as the risk goes up with no warranty or recourse. Also depends on how quickly you need to sell it... if you can afford to be patient then you will always do better - you just have to wait for the right buyer who wants that exact spec to come onto the market. Right now low 40s might get you a bit more interest. If you need to sell it in the next 2-3 weeks the price might have to start with a 3.
jep
Put the car back to standard, the rear wing will put off some prospective buyers. Justin

Yeah- there was a similar spec in Grey with a few more miles for about £49k at a dealer, so I thought I would undercut that by a bit. But that seems to be a bit overpriced and has come down in price now. I'm in no real rush to sell, but I figuref prices might dip in winter and as energy costs go up people might be more careful with their money, so it might be beneficial to try and sell it sooner.
Gold FFM Popular Post TdM Posted September 5, 2022 Gold FFM Popular Post Report Share Posted September 5, 2022 I agree with back to standard making the biggest difference here. There will be someone out there who wants this exact spec at some point, but if someone is looking to pay more for a really low mileage car, they probably want it to be original as well.
92spicer
This really surprises me- it's just the 'upgraded' spoiler from the higher spec model and I say in the description that the original spoiler is also included... whats the issue with having the 'upgrade' on? I was thrilled when I bought the car with the spoiler included! 😂
Rambo
I agree with what Jep has said. Funnily enough I was casually looking at the ad's yesterday and thought, lovely looking car, colour, history, mileage etc... but then I saw the go faster spoiler 😲 Not my cuppa, but if you're including the original then not a deal breaker. Also, I thought the price was too dealer high, if you know what I mean. Good luck with the sale. I'm sure it will sell but try and beat the pre Emira rush before the market gets flooded.  Edited September 5, 2022 by Rambo

Could well see a shift to fun possessions for those whom can do it. 13 minutes ago, 92spicer said: This really surprises me- it's just the 'upgraded' spoiler from the higher spec model and I say in the description that the original spoiler is also included You really should remove it. £50 cash waiting 🤣 Quote Only here once

Beady
Definitely change the wing - i think more people would be put off than those that like it, and the comments above seem to reflect that. Love the colour and price seems ok a few weeks ago but I detect prices are already dropping (a little) and I think will continue - economy, interest rates, energy bills, winter coming and emira deliveries may add to the evoras on sale. My last 400 is currently on PH at £47k albeit now with nearly 50k miles on it. good luck Quote construction and property consultants : My company
Gold FFM paranoidandroid Posted September 5, 2022 Gold FFM Report Share Posted September 5, 2022 I concur with the others, would get some photos up with the standard wing on  in the add, I much prefer the standard look. Those other dealer cars have also been for sale a while so wouldn’t be too concerned if you are not in a hurry.

I think that says it all. If B&C wouldn't want a non-standard wing, take that cue. They really do know what the Lotus buyer wants.
Mellow Yellow
I think it's a stunning car, love the colour, not a fan of the big wing either but the fact that the original is included means it wouldn't put me off.  I bought mine a year ago, I was after an S and had choice of a private 2014 S Sports Racer 28k OTC £39k or Will Blackham 2011 S (none SR) with 26k OTC for £36k; I went for the private Sports Racer but it was by no means a slam-dunk, my extra £3k was getting Sports Racer spec and a three year newer car, i.e it needed to be a lot better value than the dealer one before I was prepared to take the extra risk and hassle of nr £40k private transaction. Will Blackham is curently listing a 2014 S SR with 34k OTC for £43,500 which may or may not still be available.  IMHO you need to be pretty close to that price to tempt a buyer to go private rather than trade.  The two near £50k have been advertised for ages, that's 400 territory!
Gold FFM Cdm2018 Posted September 6, 2022 Gold FFM Report Share Posted September 6, 2022 I kinda like the wing and if I was buying and seen the package included both wings be more tempting ! just need me sort of buyer to come come along with the money in their pocket
Gold FFM TdM Posted September 6, 2022 Gold FFM Report Share Posted September 6, 2022 I doubt that Will Blackham one is still available, I might be wrong as it says it's in stock but it's been there a little while and I've noticed that he often leaves one up there even if it's long gone.
