Gold FFM Evotion Posted July 25, 2022 Gold FFM Report Share Posted July 25, 2022 Well, I always wanted one of these or a manual Gallardo and I did not want, and could not accept, any more delays to my summer fun driving intentions. Spotted this car and pulled the trigger. Have to say. not thought much about the Emira since. 🙈 Quote If it has an engine, I am there to thrash it. My Emira Videos | Into Motorcycles? Gold FFM Evotion Posted July 25, 2022 Author Gold FFM Report Share Posted July 25, 2022 Ha. Driven it every day since Tuesday, apart from Yesterday when I was forced to go to inlaws in Somerset. Missed it madly and was checking the security camera every 30 minutes. Quote If it has an engine, I am there to thrash it. My Emira Videos | Into Motorcycles? Jcx
Gosh you’ll have to give it away.
Gold FFM Evotion Posted July 25, 2022 Author Gold FFM Report Share Posted July 25, 2022 Can't see me selling it. Never know though. I have no real idea what the next few months will be in terms of car ownership. The Emira is slipping more and more out of my thoughts. I really feel a bit gutted to be honest. I was so looking forward to it in the summer months. Hand a good handful of amazing plans, tours and events booked up. I feel like a lot of the joy has been squeezed out of me like a Boa constrictor - fighting for my last breath. Quote If it has an engine, I am there to thrash it. My Emira Videos | Into Motorcycles? LotusLeftLotusRight
Fabulous choice. Welcome to the world of open top Ferrari ownership. My old bus (Mondial T cabriolet) is 15 years older than yours though, so much more antiquated. So pleased you went for the manual version. It looks brand new from the video. How many miles has it done? (Typical Ferrari owner’s question…)
Wake
I’ll be honest I’ve been feeling the same way. I’ve had other cars to enjoy the summer with, but had trips and weddings to go to (just got back from an NC500 trip) which I had hoped was going to be in the Emira. The Ferrari is gorgeous though. I don’t think you will be disappointed! Edited July 25, 2022 by Wake

Gold FFM Evotion Posted July 25, 2022 Author Gold FFM Report Share Posted July 25, 2022 Yeah, I did. One magma and one nimbus. Had them both for about a year and then a couple of months back I knew I was going to get some other toys (not the Ferrari at that point!) so pulled out of one. I intended to have them both, one set up for the track. I didn;t really want two red cars so wish I had now kept the Nimbus 😀 Quote If it has an engine, I am there to thrash it. Leon
Can understand everyone’s frustration with the delayed delivery, especially if you had trips/events planned. The magma red will look nice next to your Ferrari tbh, I have seen a magma Emira in the flesh on the M1 last month and it was gorgeous. It will be my go to colour if I get one.
Gold FFM Evotion Posted July 25, 2022 Author Gold FFM Report Share Posted July 25, 2022 Yeah, not sure if it will make the Ferrari look flat or not. Hopefully I will find out this year. 😊🤪 1 Quote If it has an engine, I am there to thrash it. My Emira Videos | Into Motorcycles? KJD
You are a lightweight with no staying power. 😁 But I’m nearly jealous. The F430 manual would be my Ferrari sweet spot, only a coupe and not red. Don’t enjoy it too much, eh.
Gold FFM Evotion Posted July 25, 2022 Author Gold FFM Report Share Posted July 25, 2022 I will be driving this at every opportunity. Not too worried about mileage in this case. Other cars will be used. The real dilemma is whether I take the Ferrari or the Lotus to meet ups... I really have no idea yet. Quote If it has an engine, I am there to thrash it.
