Lotus inspired driving shoes

Ordered a nice pair of Lotus inspired driving shoes from the States a couple of weeks back and they finally arrived today. Been wearing them around the house and they're very comfy so far.

They're fairly expensive shoes at retail prices and by the time you've imported them to the UK and paid customs, VAT and other fees etc they don't get any cheaper. But with them being on offer recently I decided I'd buy a set now. Probably should have done it sooner given how Sterling is tanking though :(

I wasn't sure what size would fit me best, so I ordered several pairs in varying sizes to ensure I got a pair that fit, so I do I have unworn pairs in US size 10 and 10.5 for sale if anyone is interested.

They are fab. Good skills. I bet you're pumped.

10.5 may fit me....how much are they?

To cover the VAT and import etc I'm after £115 plus post. I reckon post will be a tenner for sufficient insurance, but can probably shop around a bit to make a saving.

Size wise the supplier recommends going a half size down from what you normally wear. I have a couple of sets of Sparco driving shoes that are US 10 and these in US 9.5 fit me nicely.

Would you mind sharing where you found them? I might be tempted to import a set as well, they look real nice and I could use a new set of driving shoes. 😎

I have made many mistakes in my life. Buying a multiple Lotus is not one of them.

I have had them for a few years. Only real downside is that the green dye bleeds into your sock quite heavily.

If you have the choice between a Stairway to Heaven and a Highway to Hell don't forget the Nomex®!

I haven't noticed any green dye bleed from these yet. Wonder if they changed the lining in the newer version I have to overcome this perhaps?

The size 10's have been snapped up. 10.5's are still available if anyone is interested.
