Football would be a lot better for it.

Football would be better without the cheating, the crying, from the pussies who play it.

I came into this world screaming and covered in someone elses blood. I'll probably leave it in the same way.

I prefer the bunch of fannies playing footie rather than watch the bunch of diving pussies. Particularly when they're dribbling 😉

O well. I doubt there are any other Spurs fans here, but if there are at least you're used to dejection and disappointment. Tbh I thought we played well and would have gone on to win if not for Kane's uncharacteristic penalty miss. Roll on the resumption of the Premier League on Dec 26 when we can all go back to hating Saka for being a Gooner (although he was outstanding in an England shirt).

Dave Eds (Spud) might have something to say about that.

Yeah, shame about the corrupt ref. and match officials. So many missed fouls on Saka, a penalty, red card etc...

Has Southgate done the honorable thing yet?

We were slow in possession, slow to press when not in possession, and didn't go for the jugular after the first penalty when France were at their most vulnerable. We looked like we were playing to the manager's tactics, whatever they were...... We should have exploited Lloris' weaknesses under pressure. Yep the ref was very inconsistent but consistently bad at the same time, Kane should have at least hit the target for the second penalty (he doesn't miss many, but I haven't watched a penalty live since 2009 although I did see the ball fly over my shoulder high into the Northam Stand at St Mary's from one of his rare failed efforts much to my son-in-law's delight), we should have stopped the cross and marked Giroud for their second but didn't do either.......I could, but won't, go on and on further........

Yep I'm used to watching Spurs flatter to deceive (since March 1966), as I am with England (since 1966 again but at least I saw them lift the World Cup).

I can't wait for Boxing Day to begin more live in a ground torture........it's just not the same on TV......

What honourable thing is that then?

Rip up his squad card as the players did not deliver on the pitch?

I do find it crazy when people are quick to kill the manager. Sometimes, you need to look at how the players executed the game

Personally, happy to see Southgate stay rather than getting in another shit overseas manager who fails to deliver.

Southgate has the best track record of any England manager from the past 60 years doesn't he in Tournaments?

Have to day the one thing Southgate is poor on is his use of substitutes. Seems to leave it too late as yesterday when bringing Rashford on with 6 minutes to go, hardly enough time to settle in. However that may be something that comes with more experience

He brought Grealish on with all but 53 seconds to go. And for that Grealish gets an international cap. WTF?

BBC1 now there’s a womens game on - Man U vs Man C.

15 minutes in - and still I’ve not seen anyone rolling around crying like their legs been amputated by an angry lion.
