I didnt know any S1's had a clock?... am i missing something ?

The Bond car had one above the mirror. We all know that was a standard car!!!

Seriously I'm sure I read that it was an option or Colin Chapman had one on his.

I always thought they were above the mirror in between the visors. I know my S2 has one there (and it works!).

Is it the same clock as the S2 Mat?

It looks similiar. Mine has a Green LCD display and that one looks a little orange to me, but it could be flash reflection. It seems to have the same dimensions and buttons for hour/min change in the same places.
