ansellb
Rob Nice work! It usually pays to make a fuss. Here's my insurance story: Last week, I phoned up Footman James to renew the 4500-miles/year insurance on my S4, and was quoted
Bibs
Jayne is lovely and a member on here, she's our liaison at Hagerty too. I'm pleased that we were able to help out, they offer excellent cover too. russellbosier
I have my house insurance with Direct Line. Every year I take out a new policy online, and then phone up and cancel the old policy. It is always about 20% cheaper than the renewal price they send through. They ask why I am cancelling and I tell them. They are perfectly happy with this, and when I ask why I have to do this they just say thats how it is and it is a quite normal thing for there customers to do each year. I assume they must have a lot of customers who just renew without checking, and that must cover the extra cost of cancelling and setting up new policies for those who know how to 'work' there system. ajheath
Worth mentioning I think that Hagerty will only insure you if the car is garaged, they wont entertain ungaraged cars. Fair enough but just thought I would point it out.
