Hello from Chicago.

I recently began the search for my first Lotus and came across this site through my research. I'm looking forward to becoming a regular posting, newbie member.

So far, both the site and the forum topics I've browsed are excellent.

Hi there - You have definitely come to the right place :P

Read Lotus Esprit World (LEW) and Esprit Fact File (EFF) cover to cover (as it were) and check out the advice given to other newbies when it comes to car buying / hunting :P

Don't be afraid to ask questions and above all obey the cardinal rule of getting anything you think of buying *independently* checked!!

That's the one thing that stuck in my mind most from Kato's advice on LEW and one of the last sensible things I ever did :P

It was only a movie prop, there arent really any underwater Esprits :(  :P  :P

I already have the speargun, now I just need the cool car to go along with it. Maybe I'll mount one on the inside of the passenger compartment, just in case. :(
