winshield washer jets, how do I install them?

Recommended Posts

Hey,

I was having some inconsistent water coming out of the winshield washer jets (dirty nozzles)

So I removed the nozzles, and the water jet system and worked on cleaning them up.

now I went to rescrew them and it seems there must have been a lugnut or something because now they will not tighten!

If anyone has installed them or removed/reinstalled them can I have a quick rundown on the best method to do this?

Thanks!

Upgrade today to remove Google ads and support TLF.

my suggestion is: modify you system to washer jets on the wiperblade.

works better at any speed!

There is a nut on the back of each washer jet that secures the unit in place. Unfortunately, the only way you're going to be able to get a spanner onto them is via the underside of the dashboard.

I'd remove both seats first (to give more working room) and then lay in the footwell. If you're lucky you might have reasonable access to wriggle your arm up there!
