Speaking of clutches...what's the average clutch life for a V8 Esprit? I have a 2001 (AP clutch) with 40,000 miles on it. It still works fine. Does anyone have an example of a higher mileage V8 with the original clutch?

Thanks,

Steve

I think previous threads have suggested 20,000 about normal life expectancy. Its a service item, every two years I think, on a McLaren F1.

I'm almost at 25,000 miles on my orginal clutch and flywheel. I'm hoping for at least 30K to 35K. But I baby my car. I'm still onthe orginal set of tires too. But I'm replacing the tries over this winter!

I think the dealer told me anywhere from 27K to 32K. I know one person that has already gone thru a clutch at 18K miles. But he tracks the car alot.
