Rear CV join boot

Is there some incantation or certain way i need to hold my face as I get this darn thing back on . . . the rear outer cv boot is a BITC______ . . . i tried with the wheel on, i am going to give it a go tonight with the wheel off and the axle even . . . aaaaahhhhh . . . always some challenge . . .

I haven't tried that particular boot but you can buy a CV boot spreading tool that will transform your life....
