talon
We met up with the nice folks with the Charlotte Area Ferrari Enthusiasts club yesterday for their holiday party. What a great group of people. Unfortunately the weather meant that most people brought their daily drivers.
islandbloke
Love the Rolls Royce Silver Cloud...I think that was the last GREAT RR design. I had the (virtually identical) Bentley version (S1) up until around 10 years ago as my weekend and family car. Lazy 4.9 litres, straight six - it had some really nice features for a 50's car too - switchable rear shocks (normal/sports mode), power brakes (via a small flywheel on the propshaft IIRC) and a third 'pedal' that lubricated all the suspension and steering bushes with one push from the driver. Gold FFM mayevora Posted December 17, 2007 Gold FFM Report Share Posted December 17, 2007 Still think your Esprit takes the prize for the prettiest Russ. Do like the flatnose as well though. talon
Hey Russ, what ever happened to the Charlotte Area Lotus Enthusiasts club ? Chuck - My last laptop ate its hard drive and I lost all the contact information. Since Bibs was kind enough to start a geographically specific area, I propose we use that to organize outings. I already started a thread there and will be adding another one shortly with contact information on a HIGHLY recommended local shop to have work done on our cars.
