Paul C, your car is famous

Recommended Posts

Went in to Waterstones today and saw a book called The Enthusasts Guide to Buying a Classic British Sports Car. On Page 93 is a picture of Paul's SE, reg E2 PRT. The picture looks like it was taken at Castle Combe, as the cafe is in the background. Also the red S1 (VPA 395S) which is often at the Stoneleigh Parts Fair is also in the book. The book is by Peter Hingston and Philip Gundy and is hardback and published by Hingstone Publishing, price

If I get a copy will you autograph it for me or maybe run it over so it's got a tyre tread mark?:thumbup:

I'm too tight to spend that much. If you buy a copy i'll run my fingers round my rims

and give you a brakedust finger print, then i'll sign it by dipping a quill into the little

puddles of blue and black liquidy stuff that drips comfortably slowly onto my garage

floor.

Pawed through a copy today Mark,

Was taken at one of the classic and sportscar days some time ago. Not one

of my pictures, so i guess the author went there to photo whatever was there

(always a good selection on those days, including some rare marques).

Not much of a buyer guide, the caption below my pic describes an early stevens

turbo...

Cheers for the tip.

Yes noticed this. It's more a coffee table book than a comprehensive publication.

Still it's good to famous. I don't know what that feels like!
