Riddlemr2
Fantastic! NC has so many open plates to use...Did you use the DOT's website? I have some great ideas, but I don't want to give them away until I pick the right one.
ajheath
Love it, wish we could do that in the UK without it costing the same as the car in the first place.
Atle
Great fun! Lucky you guys can choose plates. Up here we just get TS 48924 or BL 29467 or whatever. You can order a fun number if it's coming up on the sequential list but it costs a fortune, I'm talking over 15,000 USD! If you buy from a dealer with a stock of plates, you may get lucky like my Alfa was DE 50005 but thats as good as it gets. They checked its availability on the computer and said it was available.
USAndretti42
Nice touch, Russ, as long as the dork who was asking the question can read. There are way more Lotus and Esprit related plates available in North Carolina than in California. Bibs
Russ, that's brilliant, lovin' your work! In the UK, for a plate like that we'd probably pay several thousand to the gov't if it were available. Our DVLA has made over Quote 88 Esprit NA, 89 Esprit Turbo SE, Evora, Evora S, Evora IPS, Evora S IPS, Evora S IPS SR, Evora 400, Elise S1, Elise S1 111s, Evora GT410 Sport Evora NA For forum issues, please contact the Moderators.
